Asking for visa expenses after termination without notice
Dear sir/madam,
My employer terminated me without notice. She is asking for a refund of the visa expenses.
Do I need to pay them as they are the ones who broke the contract?

Dear questioner,
As per the new labor law, the employer is not allowed to seek visa or recruitment costs from their employees.
Hence, if you are terminated, you will not be obliged to pay back the visa costs.
If your employer is insisting, you may lodge a complaint with MOHRE against your employer.

Hi,
Legally, you are not supposed to pay any recruitment charges; you can file a complaint to MOHRE stating that you have been terminated and the employer is asking for the visa expenses.
