How to deal with manager's harassment?

Good morning,

I am working in Dubai. My manager is always harassing me by using slang. Yesterday, my manager didn't allow me to work and told me that no need to come to work.

He is not allowing me to enter my workplace. I asked him to give me it in writing. Today also he is not allowing me to work. What should I do now? If it is like this, then I don't want to work here.

I am on a limited contract for 2 years. What should I do now?

Dear questioner,

Try speaking to the HR of the company and if that does not work, visit MOHRE and file a complaint against your manager.

Kindly contact me via phone or email for further assistance.

Dear questioner,

You can submit a complaint with MOHRE against your employer as an employer needs to give a termination letter in accordance with the employment contract or UAE labor law.

If there is proof of harassment, you can go to the police station and file a complaint.

Regards,

Dear sir/madam,

You should call the police and let them come to your workplace to show them that, and to have this record with you because it will help you a lot when you complain at MOHRE.

You can file a complaint against him and ask for compensation for abusing his authority, proving your presence at work, and preventing him from entering the office.
