Stalking and threatening by an ex-boyfriend
My ex-boyfriend and I broke up last Feb 2016 and now he is back, stalking me at my workplace and sending me threat messages. I am afraid to file a complaint with the police as it might just land me into trouble since he is an ex-boyfriend.

Your past history with your ex is irrelevant to the current situation in relation to his harassment measures. If in the event that you decide to file a police complaint against your ex, it will only be considered as a harassment case and nothing more. The police will not investigate your previous relationship history with your ex, as the relationship has ended more than a year ago.
