What is the way to find details on a old case in Dubai?

This haunts me, for 24 years.

In 1998, I was living in Dubai with my husband & daughter. Our neighbors had a son, age 14.

One evening he saw me out shopping, stopped to politely chat, and walked back toward my home with me since he lived nearby.

For some reason the kid began speaking vulgar, I walked ahead to get away, then he began chasing me, causing me to be frightened due to his language.

Running away scared, I became lost as he chased me for miles. I ran into a building, asked to call my husband as I was lost & scared. The boy ran in, I stated he was chasing me, they called the police, he was arrested.

There was a huge language barrier. My husband said he was arrested for assault, sent back to India to face the charge. But he didn't assault me.

For years I've tried finding the report, etc., to explain as I don't want a kid to have been in trouble for assault. False charges could've harmed the family.

You can search for cases registered in your name in court, and since you are a party to the case, it may be in your name in court.

I cannot seem to locate the search option other than to search by case number which of course I do not have.

There was a discrepancy in translation during this incident. While he did chase me, he did not attack me, and I found out later the boy got in trouble for an attack on me he didn't commit.

Though it was long ago I fear he may have been jailed for a crime he didn't commit. I've been searching for many long years to correct this to no end.
