Q: My sister is emotionally and physically abusive. I get worried about my physical safety when I am near her. In the past, she has assaulted me and my mother.
I want to know how I can go about filing a complaint if she physically assaults me again. She has paid various expenses for my family and is now demanding all that money back. I want to know what is her legal standing in this matter.

Can I file a criminal case against my ex-husband based on hospital reports with police?

0
Q: Hi
I want to know how to file a criminal case against my ex-husband.
He was physically abusive and there were 2 incidents where I ended up in the hospital, and along with a medical report, the matter was taken to the police station.
Both times he was summoned and he was made to sign warning letters by the police. There was no case filed though.
I want to know if I can file a case now based on those 2 incidents since they must be in the police record.

What can I do in case of a violent father who abuses all family?
2
Q: Hi,
I'm a 21-year-old daughter of parents residing in the UAE. My father is extremely abusive, both verbally and physically.
My parents have been married for 22 years, and it's been 19 years since we came to the UAE. My father has caused injuries to my mom and severely affected her mental and physical health.
My father has been unemployed for over 10 years and my mother provides for the family. He has failed to educate me, protect me and my mother.
He is extremely violent, and controlling and we have been living in fear, all our lives.
Can I know the procedure to be done in case of domestic violence?
And pls advise about the divorce procedures of the country.

Filing for divorce by children due to continuous arguments between parents

1
Q: Hello,
I was wondering is it possible for my parents to get a divorce if I (21 years) daughter filed a report against them?
They have previously split up in 2019 and went to the family guidance (the report was regarding my father's physical abuse and cheating on my mother).
My dad can’t physically abuse my mom anymore due to court rules but he has been doing it mentally & verbally almost every day now, during daylight and literally after 12 am; it doesn’t matter with him.
I started recording some of their arguments when it was clear in June but sometimes it’s not possible so I listen through my AirPods live feature in case I have to step up.
He would argue over stupid things like why she won’t go out or accuse her of cheating or money issues, etc. They don’t get along and there is hate in between everything.
My siblings and I want them to get divorced; 3 of us are 18+ while the other two are 10 & 15.
I want them to divorce or stop my dad from living with us. We are exhausted. What can I do?

A woman wants to move out of abusive home. What are her legal options?
1
Q: Dear Sir/Madam,
I am an Arab expatriate woman living in the UAE, sponsored by my company on a work visa. I live with my oppressive family and I want to move out and live independently.
Can my father legally attempt to force me to come back? Does the law protect me from potential abuse from my parents following this decision?
Can they file a missing persons report, and what are the consequences of that? Can I file a restraining order, and does that guarantee they won't approach me?
I would really appreciate your help.
My living situation is unbearable and I need to leave this household for the sake of my mental and physical wellbeing.

Facing mental torture and threats of divorce. How to protect myself and my kids?

1
Q: Dear Sir/Madam,
My husband is mentally torturing me. He says he will divorce me. He’s trying to kick me out of the house. I have 2 little kids. I reported to the police and they gave him a warning.
But now he’s installing cameras in my room. He’s making videos of everything. He’s not providing me food, or groceries. When I asked him to bring me groceries and food for myself and the kids, he simply refused.
I’m very worried. What should I do?
