Can I file a criminal case against my ex-husband based on hospital reports with police?
Hi
I want to know how to file a criminal case against my ex-husband.
He was physically abusive and there were 2 incidents where I ended up in the hospital, and along with a medical report, the matter was taken to the police station.
Both times he was summoned and he was made to sign warning letters by the police. There was no case filed though.
I want to know if I can file a case now based on those 2 incidents since they must be in the police record.

We would like to inform you that you can as long as you have a written report issued by the hospital that proves your ex-husband made injuries to you.

Hi,
Yes, you can and we need to check if any of these reports transferred to a criminal case earlier or not then a civil case for compensation can be filed.
