Q: Dear all,
I recently got told I will not be able to have a baby and I have severe low egg count, AMH levels and at the age of 38, I am entering menopause.
The doctors have said I may have 2 - 6 months to try with IVF but I am at the very near end and I must act fast. I am from the UK and unmarried.
I cannot get back to the UK currently as they have strict quarantine isolation and IVF is not seen as an emergency treatment.
With the new laws in the UAE now allowing pregnancy out of wedlock is there a chance an IVF clinic would be able to offer emergency IVF without being married?
Thank you

Filing a petition to demand citizenship rights as a son of an Emarati father
8
Q: I am now 20 years old and was born to a UAE Citizen and a Kazakhstani national. I was born in Kazakhstan and have been residing with my father for a while, while my mother is residing in her home country.
There was no wedlock when I was born and it is not present till now. Am I eligible to apply for the Emirati citizenship? As I have already read in so many articles around the internet that the law states that anyone born to a citizen is eligible for it.
It really hurts knowing, for the past 20 years, that I still don't carry the rights of a UAE Citizen, knowing that the convicted mistake has nothing to do with me. I would be very glad if anyone can help me with this rare/complicated yet possible issue.

Rights of child support from a father without marriage
4
Q: I'm not married to my son's father. He paid child support before the baby was born, and stopped one month before his birth.
What can I do to claim child support from the father for my 9-month old son? He told me I won't be able to do anything because we are not married.
He is from Kenya and I'm from South Africa, and he works for a big company in Abu Dhabi.

Will it be legal for a pregnant woman to deliver a baby in the UAE outside wedlock?

Q: Hi Sir,
Now, I am pregnant for 5 months, and it is legal to deliver the baby, without question.
But because I was pregnant for 5 months before, can we get married after 6 months of pregnancy?

Can a husband and a wife legalize a child birth if it is from extramarital relationship?
1
Q: With the recent changes in the UAE law regarding children conceived out of wedlock, I wonder how this would affect a theoretical scenario. The scenario is as follows.
Let's assume that a happily married couple, residing in Dubai with resident visas from the husband's company, come to know that the wife is pregnant as a result of a foolish and regrettable affair with a third party.
Assuming both the husband and wife agree to continue the pregnancy and the husband agrees to acknowledge and adopt the child after birth and that their medical insurance covers private birth in the UAE, what are the legal considerations around this process?
The husband is British and his wife is Philipino. Any input would be appreciated.

View allSigning a non-compete clause upon termination of a labor contract 0
Dear sir/madam,
I had signed a labor contract with the Ministry of Labour which had no "non-compete" clause.
Now, I want to leave the company, but my employer wants me to sign the "non-compete" clause in the termination contract.
In this case, is the non-compete clause applicable or not?

Canceling my MoU and getting my deposit back due to a low bank valuation and overpriced property 0
Hi,
I wanted to purchase a 2-bedroom apartment in JVC Dubai. I gave a 10% security deposit cheque to the seller. The price mentioned in the MoU is very high compared to other similar apartments in the same building.
The bank’s valuation also came in very low. Since the valuation is much lower, how can I terminate the MoU and get my cheque back? The MoU ends on 1st October 2024.
One of the articles in the MoU states:
In the event that the Buyer fails to make the payments as agreed or fails to complete the transfer on the agreed date due to his own acts or omissions, the Seller has the right to terminate this agreement and retain the deposit, provided that the termination is due to a violation of the agreed terms, unless both parties agree amicably to different dates.
I need help urgently.
