Filing a petition to demand citizenship rights as a son of an Emarati father

I am now 20 years old and was born to a UAE Citizen and a Kazakhstani national. I was born in Kazakhstan and have been residing with my father for a while, while my mother is residing in her home country.

There was no wedlock when I was born and it is not present till now. Am I eligible to apply for the Emirati citizenship? As I have already read in so many articles around the internet that the law states that anyone born to a citizen is eligible for it.

It really hurts knowing, for the past 20 years, that I still don't carry the rights of a UAE Citizen, knowing that the convicted mistake has nothing to do with me. I would be very glad if anyone can help me with this rare/complicated yet possible issue.

Dear Sir,

Legally an Emarati male citizen born kid gets automatic UAE citizenship, however, the kid should be born by a legal marriage contract.

As you mentioned, you were born without wedlock, therefore, you can't get citizenship automatically, but you may attempt by filing a petition in related authorities or court and demand your citizenship rights as a son of an Emarati father, on the ground that there was no negligence happened from your side.

If authority or court accepts your petition, then you may be granted citizenship.
