Can a husband and a wife legalize a child birth if it is from extramarital relationship?

With the recent changes in the UAE law regarding children conceived out of wedlock, I wonder how this would affect a theoretical scenario. The scenario is as follows.

Let's assume that a happily married couple, residing in Dubai with resident visas from the husband's company, come to know that the wife is pregnant as a result of a foolish and regrettable affair with a third party.

Assuming both the husband and wife agree to continue the pregnancy and the husband agrees to acknowledge and adopt the child after birth and that their medical insurance covers private birth in the UAE, what are the legal considerations around this process?

The husband is British and his wife is Philipino. Any input would be appreciated.

Hello,

As per your query, in order to legalize the birth, the hospital will need the verified identity of both the parents and the marriage certificate, provided the husband agrees to the same and he does not want to divorce his wife.
