Claiming arbitrary dismissal after termination for economic reasons
Hi,
I am working in a company situated in the free zone, and due to the economic crisis as mentioned in my termination letter, the company terminated me and gave me a 1 month notice period.
My contract was 3-year visa I finished my 2 years 4 months ago. In this situation, does the company need to pay me a 3-month salary with notice period salary?

Dear questioner,
As per your question, in this situation, the company needs to pay 3 months salary to you
If need be, kindly contact us by phone for a detailed discussion or write to us at our email for further assistance.

Dear Questioner,
Thank you for your query.
Since your employer has not followed the Ministerial Resolution No. 279 of 2020 and has terminated your employment, it is likely that you are entitled to arbitrary dismissal.
Please send me a copy of your termination letter to my email.

Dear Questioner,
It depends on the nature of your contract and also the ground of termination and if they have followed the new regulation regard terminating staff for the organization affected by COVID-19 issued after the recent circumstances.
In general, they violated the law and you are entitled to 3 months compensation, but this statement has to be examined against the documents and details.
