The procedures of a criminal case and the role of the public prosecutor
Hi,
I just want to know. What is the role of a public prosecutor?
I do not understand all the terms. My statements and the accused statements were collected by the police station.
What is giving the statement to the prosecutor? and what usually happens after?
Thank you!

Dear questioner,
Usually, the procedure of a criminal case is the following:
- Once the complaint is registered with the police station, they will do the necessary to collect all evidence and take the necessary statements.
- Once the file is closed from their end, they will transfer it to the public prosecutor.
- The public prosecutor will review the file and issue his decision.
In case you need a detailed report about the criminal procedure, please let me know.
