The consequences of rejecting a civil appeal and inability to pay
Cassation Court has rejected my civil appeal and I, along with 3 more people, have been made liable to pay 360k each. I wanted to know what happens if I don't have money to pay.
Can the court issue an arrest warrant or put a travel ban? Will they freeze my bank accounts for recovery?
Also, can I speak to the party who has put a claim to settle it outside? As I have spent a lot of money on the last 5 years fighting the case and now I don't have money.
Please advise!

Dear Questioner,
The court has the right to implement all the options or apprehensions you explained in your question.
As per procedures, the other party, the winning party, may bring the matter to the execution department of the court to implement the judgement and recover the money and costs.
The arrest warrant and travel ban will be imposed and you may be apprehended by CID and can also be put behind the jail.
The option for settlement in civil cases with claiming party depends always on your mutual consent.

Hi,
The court has the right to issue an arrest warrant, which automatically results in a travel ban. The court can freeze the bank account as well.
You can always try to settle matters amicably with the claimant.
