Q: I have just received a termination letter from my employer after 4 months from the day my visa was issued.
The reason for termination is not meeting my sales volume target at the position of a sales executive.
I have signed the termination notice, effective after one month.
Will I get a labour ban in this situation?

Q: Hi,
I joined a company in Dubai free zone 3 months ago with unlimited contract and a probation period of 6 months. My current situation is that I am not comfortable with my current employer and want to come back to my home country.
I have handled my resignation letter 10 days ago. My visa is still in the process of making and I have not got my passport back yet. The company does not want me to leave and now requires me to pay 30000 AED without giving any explanation.
Could you please let me know if Free Zone Labor Law allows a company to charge employee resigning from work during probation period? What is the process of resignation from here? When should company return my passport?

Q: I am on unlimited contract with my company and this is the 3rd month but if the company terminates me within probation period stating that my performance is not good then do I need to repay the company for visa air tickets and training cost???
During recruitment, the company has got my signature stating that if I leave the company before 3years, I have to repay them visa, airfare and training cost.
Please advise me.

Q: Hello Respected Sir/Madam,
I am here with doubts upon my UAE labour ban. I was hired on visit visa and changed that visit visa to employment visa within one month of hiring.
Being for two months with the company with Emirates ID, I was terminated. The reason was the technician who's left the company before my arrival returned. So I have to return my country of origin. I have the visa cancellation paper.
Can I search a job in the UAE, Dubai, Sharjah? Or is there any ban on me?
Hope you understood my doubts. Any help would be appreciated.

Termination during probation period in a limited contract

Q: Hello Ma'am,
I just want to ask for advice, as my employer just recently terminated me under a limited contract.
I was hired July 2, 2017, and last Wednesday, Sept 20, 2017, the newly hired HR and General Manager spoke with me that they will no more continue my contract with them.
They are claiming that I have made delays which I'm not aware of, and they didn't send me any warnings through email.
I have filed one-day sick leave when I was not really feeling well. Immediately on that day, they gave me a cheque which I served for 20 days only.
They just told me without any notice period, and haven't informed me or warned me if I have committed mistakes with their policies. Is this right?

Q: Good day,
My name is Roy, and I'm a Filipino citizen working in Abu Dhabi western region as a massage therapist for 2 months now.
I have a limited contract, and I want to quit now due to the unhealthy environment here in the company.
This is because of the bad experience here with the management and the customers, and most customers here are forcing me to do bad things such as suck their private parts, massage their private parts, and so much more.
I cant take this anymore and I want to resign because this is traumatizing me in many ways emotionally and mentally.
How can I go without penalty? My manager and my boss don't let me go and they don't understand my fear and feelings please help

By this Decree Ministry of Labour of the UAE has removed the six-month labour ban for those who changed the job before completing two years of service. Labour ban will be still applicable for workers that qualify for skill level 4 and 5 under various circumstances.
