Issuing a police letter of a car damage for the insurance company to repair it
Hi,
My car was hit by another party who was under the influence of alcohol. The incident happened in Sharjah where my car was in paid parking and the other party drove the car to the parking and hit my car.
Now, this has been taken to the court. Unfortunately, I am not able to repair my car nor the insurance company, because they are asking for a police letter which was not provided by the police.
Since it's not my mistake, why the court or the police are not providing me with the police report?
What shall I do to get the police letter?

Please take a photo of the damage to your car in the location where it happened.
The photo should clearly show the position of the car when it was hit, then call the police to report the complaint.
The police will come to the spot where the accident happened. After you file the complaint, the police will give you a report that you can share with the insurance company for processing the claim through the repair garage recommended by the insurance company.
