Q: Hi,
I am an employee in the probation period. The company is based in a free zone. I want to resign and apply to my own company based in Sharjah free zone.
Can you tell me if I could be banned to apply for a visa to my own company? Can I resign without a notice period? What is the risk?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Resignation during probation for the non-payment of salaries
1
Q: Hi Sir,
I am working as a Mechanical Engineer in a company in the UAE. I joined this company in May 2018 and still within my 6 months' probation period.
My last 4 months' salaries are pending and hence I am planning to leave.
Is there any need for a notice period or I can leave immediately?
Also, are there any other legal consequences for me in future?
Please help.
Thanks,
Nikhil

Can the employer make the employee pay visa charges for resigning during probation?

1
Q: I have a Bike Delivery Service Company. I hired a non-skilled bike delivery rider and did all his visa process. When that employee came to the UAE, he changed his mind.
He wants me to cancel his visa and give him his passport back. I have already gone through all his process of visa, labor card, and medical test booking.
Is he liable to pay me for all of this or am I just supposed to cancel his visa without asking for any compensation?

View allI supplied goods to a client who fled the country without paying. Can the employer hold me liable for that? 0
I work in sales and did a transaction worth AED 156k. We supplied goods to a client, but he did not pay us and eloped with the goods and money.
Now the company is asking me to pay for the losses. Advise if this is legal.

What can I do if my employment visa got rejected multiple times by CID? 0
Hi Everyone,
I have been working in the UAE since 2019.
Since 31 December 2024, I have been in my home country because my visa was rejected a couple of times.
After waiting for 3 months, I found a new job in the UAE, but the employer told me again that the government did not approve my visa, and that was part of the CID approval.
I would like to know if I can find something to clear my issues, which would allow me again to start my work in the UAE.

Terminated for performance issues without prior warning while on vacation. What should I do? 0
Hello Sir,
I am facing an issue with my employer. I work in the private sector in the UAE, and my employment visa expires in June 2025.
After two years, I traveled to my home country for vacation, and one week after my arrival, the company sent me an email terminating my employment due to performance issues.
However, I was never given any prior warning or written notice. The termination email also did not mention any notice period or other details.
I would like to know my rights and what I should do in this situation.
