Q: I defaulted on a personal loan due to loss of job in 2016. Then via my friend and transfer of POA filed case for settlement. I paid money to a friend for settlement. Wanted to understand if I settle my case through court does the bank give a clearance letter? My friend has submitted me an immigration clearance letter and also PCC. Should I consider my self clear from all legal liabilities on the basis of immigration clearance and PCC? Can the bank re-apply for the case against me in future? How can I close my bank account? Are the immigration ban and travel ban the same? What should I do to re-assure that everything is legally right?

Q: Dear Sir, I had issued a rental cheque to the landlord while I was a partner in the company, but when I left the company I forgot to collect the cheque back and eventually the new partner did not honor the payment, which later on ended up by landlord filling case and I was apprehended at the airport in Dubai on my visit. The amount was 14,000AED which I ended up paying at the court to close the case and get back home. Now I want a Police Clearance Certificate from Dubai for my Canadian Immigration, will that case be reflected in the PCC or have an effect on the issuance of PCC? Thanks

Q: Hi, I lived in Dubai about 9 years ago and I left an unsettled credit card bill, not a huge amount but I figured I wasn't going back for any reason. Then over time, I completely lost track of it. Since then, I got a police clearance certificate from Dubai Police for immigration purposes in another country. I was wondering if this meant that my record was clear and if I landed in Dubai I would not be put behind bars or anything of the sort.

Q: I have a cheque bounce case in the UAE. Can I apply for Canada permanent residency from India? I am an Indian citizen and currently staying in India.

Q: Hi Eman, I am K. R. D. C. G., currently live in Canada. I worked in UAE (Abu Dhabi & Ajman) from 2013 to 2016. I would like to request a police clearance certificate for immigration purposes (For Canadian Permanent Residence). I have tried twice online but have failed. In 2016, I had to go back to Sri Lanka due to my wife's medical situation (she was pregnant). I quit my job & left the UAE without informing my employer, banks, landlord... etc. & I never went back.
