Filing a case for recovering unpaid invoices from a customer
A Puerto Rican based company supplies products to a resident company in the UAE. The UAE resident company refused to settle the payment.
No formal agreement was there, only the shipping documents in the name of the customer and invoices are present.
Can we file a case against the UAE resident company in the UAE while we are not registered in the UAE?
We will need a POA from you and we can file a case here in UAE.
The fees will be 10% of the claim amount, but not less than AED 15,000.
Also, the court fees 4-6% of the claim amount (not more than AED 40,000), Legal translation fees (AED 50/page).
