Consequences of defaulting on paying loan installments

Q: Dear Sir,
Need your advice. I took a loan of AED 64000 more than a year back and currently the outstanding amount is AED 51000, but as I don't have a job now, I am unable to pay the rest.
As I know from 2019, there is no imprisonment or criminal case, but if the bank files a civil case against me the fine will be around AED 5000 imposed upon me by the court.
Currently, even I don't have a single penny and I am struggling for daily expenses.
Kindly let me know how much time will the court give me to pay the AED 5000 fine.
What will be the consequences if I can't pay the fine within 1 month or 2 months time?
Also, let me know how I will be able to lift the travel ban if the bank imposes it on me somehow.

Settling a car loan in court to avoid collection agency harassment
1
Q: Hello,
I had a car loan from a bank. The bank impounded it over 2 years ago. I tried to resolve it with the bank but I couldn't.
The bank sold the car, and I have never heard from them ever again. Now, a debt collection agency is calling me since December 2019 on behalf of the bank, claiming that I have to settle. The agents are RUDE and abusive; they call me a loser who can't pay bills.
I told them that I WILL NOT pay, have the bank return the car and I'll be happy to deal with them or please proceed to file a case; I would rather deal with the court than the debt collection agency.
They refused to listen to me and kept calling, harassing everyone in my office. They even called my mother and yelled. How do I deal with this?
I do NOT want to pay a single cent to this agency. I want to deal with this situation in court. What's your best advice on handling this and how can I report this kind of abuse?
Thank You!

The reason for car detention by police upon a request from the bank
3
Q: Hi,
Yesterday my car has been detained by the police but I was not aware why. When I have been checked at the police station, they told me that there is an issue with the bank.
What I remember is that some payments were not made since I was stuck in my home country due to COVID-19 from Feb to July 2020 due to which I was not able to pay the monthly instalment.
I resumed work in Aug and started paying my instalments after that. Why did the bank request my car detention?

How to settle pending car loan with the bank without any issues?

0
Q: I have an outstanding of around 4000 and when I approached the bank officials to pay, they started to harass me and ask for legal charges as they have made a repossession order against the car only for the amount of 4k.
They are asking me to settle a partial amount from my credit card which I also agreed and at last they made a conditional letter for me to sign which I refused as it was against the norm.
Can someone guide how I can settle my car loan so they can make the repossession order?

Deducting housing allowance from end of service gratuity upon resignation 0
I have resigned from my current job and my last day is May 9th after a notice period of 2 months. I was employed for 4 years.
My employer has paid me a full year housing allowance and would like to deduct the remaining months from my end of service. Is this allowed? I have not been made aware that the amount would be deducted in case I resign.
Also, I am entitled to 30 days of leave per year. Since I have resigned, they have applied a pro-rata for this year for the end of service calculation. Is this allowed?
Shouldn't I be compensated for the 30 days that I have not taken?
Thank you!
