ب.

By the labour law, the working hours during Ramadan month must not increase more than 6 hours a day.

Hi.

Thank you for your Response, Dr Amira.

I would like to add that I am a non-muslim and working regularly on a 10-hour shift with a 1-hour break on it.

Meaning 9 hours working time plus the 1-hour break. As per Law, during the Ramadan, the regular working time will be deducted by 2 hours.

That would be 8 hours with a 1-hour break on it. Or 7 working hours plus a 1-hour break. My employer issued a schedule with 8-hour straight duty without break.

What can I tell my employer?

Thank you.

P.
