Q: Good Day,
As someone unfamiliar with local laws and a non-Arabic speaker, the police took my statement but did not provide a translation and told me to sign. I have no idea what they wrote or presented in the case.
The case is now with the Public Prosecution. What should I do to ensure the authorities are aware of this?

س: عندي سؤال.
اضطررت لتوقيع اتفاق. كان باللغة العربية وأنا لا أفهم اللغة العربية ولا أتحدثها.
لم يُعرض علي أي مترجم أو مشورة قانونية قبل توقيع الاتفاقية.
أود أن أعرف ما إذا كان يمكن الطعن في مثل هذا الاتفاق في المحكمة وما إذا كان بإمكاني الدفاع عنه.
كان الوضع من النوع الذي تم فيه تهديدي بالتوقيع على الاتفاقية وإلا ستكون هناك عواقب.

My employer is willing to help me if there is any way to process the renewal of my visa.
What can be the procedure for me to be able to stay and renew my visa and be able to seek medical treatment in the UAE?

I have a malpractice case ongoing against me and my hospital, with an appeal pending at the Court of Cassation.
A lawyer was hired by the malpractice insurance company, who is following up on the case.
However, I am not satisfied with the present lawyer and want to hire a personal lawyer on my side.
What are the advantages and disadvantages of doing so?

If I am to evict my tenant at the end of the tenancy (property in Abu Dhabi), can I send the tenant an email (registered in Tawtheeq), or does the notice have to be through the notary public or registered mail?

One of my friends took a loan and credit cards from various banks and ran away to Pakistan as he lost his job.
Can anyone chase him in Pakistan?
Actually, he was a victim of fraud, and the person who did this is in jail, and the other ran to Pakistan.
My friend made civil cases and won both. One is in jail for the first case, and the other ran to Pakistan. That's why he defaulted on payment.

How can I lift an immigration ban to be able to process my new emplyment visa?
Hi Sir,
I am S. and I am facing a one-year labour ban (as per my knowledge, and the same is mentioned in the cancellation paper too).
Now I have a new offer with [-----] company in a free zone, but things were not processed because of this ban. They asked me for the immigration clearance.
How can I clear this?
My previous contract was under a limited term, so even the salary basis is not helping me.
