Q: Hello,
My former employer put me on abscond, and I applied for amnesty. I obtained an outpass. However, due to unavoidable circumstances, I didn't travel.
Now I got a job, and my new company is trying to process a visa. Even after paying fines and trying to clear my abscond, they still need an NOC from my former employer, which I am not able to obtain.
What can I do?

س: سيدي العزيز،
قام صاحب العمل السابق بالتقدم بطلب رخصة HAAD للشركة الكفيلة. وبعد إصدار الرخصة، توقف صاحب العمل عن الرد على مكالماتي ورسائلي الإلكترونية، ولم أحصل على التأشيرة أو تصريح الدخول وبالتالي لم أنضم إلى الشركة.
والآن حصلت على وظيفة جديدة، وطلب مني صاحب العمل الجديد خطاب عدم ممانعة من صاحب العمل السابق لأجل تحويل الرخصة. لكن صاحب العمل السابق لا يرد على مكالماتي.
ماذا أفعل الآن؟ هل يمكنني تحويل الرخصة لكفيل آخر دون خطاب عدم ممانعة؟
وإذا كان لابد من إحضار ذلك الخطاب على الرغم من أنني لم أدخل الإمارات ولم أعمل بها، فماذا أفعل؟

By this Decree Ministry of Labour of the UAE has removed the six-month labour ban for those who changed the job before completing two years of service. Labour ban will be still applicable for workers that qualify for skill level 4 and 5 under various circumstances.

How can I lift an immigration ban to be able to process my new emplyment visa?
Hi Sir,
I am S. and I am facing a one-year labour ban (as per my knowledge, and the same is mentioned in the cancellation paper too).
Now I have a new offer with [-----] company in a free zone, but things were not processed because of this ban. They asked me for the immigration clearance.
How can I clear this?
My previous contract was under a limited term, so even the salary basis is not helping me.
From other sites, I came to know it is possible, but I still have no idea how.
Can you suggest a solution?

How can I claim my settlement if the company is inactive but some branches still operate?
Hello,
I got a judgment from Dubai Court stating that the employer should do my settlement. It’s been years, but I still haven't received the payment in my account.
When I checked with Al Adheed Center, they said if the company is not active, it’s not possible to get the money.
However, it’s a group of companies, and a few branches are still running. Is there any chance to claim it, or can I appeal directly to the court?

I paid for a partner visa but never received it. How can I recover my money?
Hello,
I have a friend who has an agency that promised me a partner's visa. She told me the payment would be 7800 AED full package, then I paid over half, 4900 AED, last October 2024.
But up until February 2025, I still didn’t receive any documents from her. So I decided to apply somewhere else, and I got my investor's visa already.
Now, I am asking for a refund, but until now, she is not giving it to me and not replying to my messages. What do I do with this?

Because I resigned immediately due to some personal issues, the company is deducting one month's salary from my gratuity, and according to them, this is mentioned in UAE law.
