They have given me the offer letter at the start which is signed by both. Today it's more than one month and no visa processed yet. I have consumed all the legal days of staying in the UAE. And yesterday I called them and simply they said that they don't have money to process my visa. Is there anything I can do about this? I was having a happy life here. Now I lost my job and I have no more time to stay, I start to have penalties for my staying in Dubai.

Q: I live in the UK and have AED 60,000 of debt in the UAE from when I lived there 2 years ago. I receive letters all the time from a debt collection agency in the UK and today I received an email from the bank entitled 'Amnesty Offer' (although I'm not sure what that means) I have no assets and no regular income, therefore, they can't get anything out of me at the moment. The provisions of this Law, known as "UAE Labour Law", govern the relationship between employers and employees and other labour matters in the United Arab Emirates. There are special labour related regulations applicable in some of the free zones in the UAE.
