What to do if your new employer does not provide you a visa
Hello,
I have been working for a company for more than 3 years, then I got selected for a new job. The new company requested me to resign and requested for the cancellation asap. They have given me the offer letter at the start which is signed by both.
I manage to resign without serving my notice period so I didn't get my gratuity and I have given them all the documents and the cancellation required for the process of my new visa.
Today it's more than one month and no visa processed yet. I have consumed all the legal days of staying in the UAE. And yesterday I called them and simply they said that they don't have money to process my visa.
Is there anything I can do about this? I was having a happy life here. Now I lost my job and I have no more time to stay, I start to have penalties for my staying in Dubai.
Dear Questioner,
Your only way out of this problem is to find another job or request to be reinstated to your previous job. You have made a very bad call to resign to join a new company that you do not know anything about and are not sure about their financial situation.
There is no legal way to assist you.
Wish you the best of luck.
