Can I refuse the rental increase if the landlord did not mention it in the notice?

Q: Hi, I have been provided with a 90-day notice regarding my renewal but the amount was not mentioned (told over the phone that it will be 1000 more than the previous year). However, when I tried to renew my contract, they told me that the rent has been increased by 4200 more than the previous year. I have read somewhere that if I am not given a notice wherein the rental increase amount is not mentioned in a written document, I will be able to renew with the same contract as the previous year. How should I file for that?

Although hesitant, I trusted their expertise and paid an initial fee of 5900 AED. Unfortunately, it has been two months since the deposit was paid, and the repairs are still unfinished. When I recently followed up with them, they informed me that the bike lacked compression and power and needed new piston parts. This seems implausible since the engine was running smoothly before the rebuild. It appears that the mechanic did not properly assemble the engine initially, and now they want to charge me an additional 10000 AED to fix their mistake. They continue to increase the cost and make excuses for the delay, even though it should not take three months to rebuild an engine. What are my options?

The matter that my ex-wife has raised is related to a loan that I gave her. Loans are not controlled by personal status law, even if the loan was between spouses.
