Latin for ‘suit pending’, it is a written notice that a lawsuit has been filed concerning real estate, involving either the title to the property or a claimed ownership interest in it. The notice is usually filed in the county land records office. Recording a lis pendens against a piece of property alerts a potential purchaser or lender that the property’s title is in question, which makes the property less attractive to a buyer or a lender. Q: Hello, I am from Lebanon. A friend of mine told me that, buying property in Turkey grants anyone the right to reside in the country legally because he owns a property, where he renews his residence annually or every two years. That allows him after about five years to apply for citizenship. is this true? Is there any way to cut the "five years" residency and apply directly to Turkish citizenship or after one year or two at max? Please advise as I am thinking of taking such steps. Questions & Answers

Q: Hi. Please help! I have been offered a job in Dubai at Suhara hospital, UAE. The contract has been sent to me to sign and send back. It is asking I contact Sapna travels LLC for the travel visa. I got this today 18th June and it’s asking they receive my permit and work visa for 4 years to be sent by the 27th June so they can pay me my 2 months salary in advance for travel...etc. Seems rather quick. I have had no interview either just my cv I sent over. There is a mention of expenses related to me relocating which will be reimbursed in 5 days after submitting receipts. Not sure if this is genuine or fake. Please help and guide me on how to go about this? My family think it may be fake. The offer seems too good to be true. Any ideas on how to check authenticity?
