Establishing a business in Turkey and hiring foreigners

Hello,

I am a foreigner, and I want to invest in Turkey.

If I opened a company in Turkey, can I get a work permit for foreigners from my country (Pakistan) or I will be obliged to employ Turkish citizens only?

Best regards

Every foreigner who establishes a company in Turkey has to hire at least five Turkish Citizens to get a work permit in Turkey.

Also, the company you establish should have 100.000.-TL capital or your share should be equivalent to 100.000.-TL.

You can hire foreigners in your company if you want to.

Therefore there are conditions set by the government to hire foreigners with work permits. You have to fulfil these requirements.

Hello,

Republic of Turkey’s priority is the employment of Turkish citizens, but you do not have to employ only Turkish citizens in your company.

If you want to employ foreigners, you have to employ 5 Turkish citizens for each. You cannot employ only foreign employees, but as long as you pay attention to this rate, you can employ foreign workers.

Kind regards.
