Can I claim full benefits if my actual salary differs from the contract?
Q: Hello, My basic salary stated in the contract is 1,000 dirhams, and the salary written was 1,000 dirhams as well. But I’m receiving 3,500 dirhams every month as per a verbal agreement between the company and me. Now, my question is: if I take my benefits after I finish my contract, but they are only based on what`s in the contract, should I file a complaint with the labour department?

Q: I have defaulted on my rent cheques twice with my landlord in Dubai, each for AED 16,250 (totaling AED 32,500). I have already paid AED 6,000, leaving an outstanding balance of AED 26,500.
