Is posting on social media about non-payment of a debt considered defamation?
Q: A friend owes me money and has been lying about paying, meeting, or talking to discuss. He has stopped responding to my calls and messages for months now. I tried to reach out in multiple ways with no luck, and I ended up posting on Facebook asking him for my money. The text was "Hey, where is my money that you never paid back. It`s been over a year, stop lying and running away". The post was up for less than 2 minutes as he deleted it and blocked me. He suddenly msgs me with a screenshot from my post, and threatens me with a defamation case. Is what I wrote considered defamation or any other form of language that is not legal? Questions & Answers

Landlord denied maintenance: Can they charge me for late notice of cancelation?
Q: Hi, Before my contract ended, I requested my landlord to perform maintenance on the flat as the cement on the ceiling was falling down, and the paint was peeling due to a high volume of mold. What to do to recover money paid for real estate agency after revoking MOU?
Q: Dear Sir, Please be informed that I contacted one of the real estate agents in Sep 2022 for a purchase of an apartment in Abu Dhabi. MOU signed with seller/agents in Oct 2022. The subject apartment was under lease and a tenant was staying there. I contacted my bank for a mortgage and the bank requested access permission for valuation. However, the agents informed me that the tenant is out of the country. And later once the tenant was back in the country, I requested agents for further permission. After multiple tries, the tenant provided the bank with access for valuation. I had no direct contact with the owner/seller. I paid the bank valuation fee. Once approval came from the bank, I informed the agent. I got a reply that the seller does not wish to proceed with the MOU. Then requested agents to return the agency commission fee, which I paid at the time of signing the MOU. Ever since I am behind the agency to return my amount. Q: I recently bought an apartment with an existing tenant. The previous owner served the tenant an eviction notice via Dubai Courts. By using this notice, can I evict the tenant or not? The eviction period ends on September 2023 and the current contract ends on April 2023. If I can evict the existing tenant, how should I prepare a new contract?
