Setting up an online drop shipping business

Q: Hello, I want to start a drop shipping business (expecting to make less than a thousand Jordanian Dinar a year). Basically, drop shipping is selling a product on an online store without owning the product or having to keep inventory. When I get a sale I go and buy it from Ali Express (which is a website full of suppliers from China) and I ship the product to a customer address (in United States) and earn the difference in money. So my question is: In Jordan do I have to pay taxes and do I need to register a company because I am making a profit, and is there a limit that I should be making before setting up a company? Q: Hi, my tenant is a company and has not paid the rent for past two months. I have filed a police complaint and eviction notice from the court. He keeps on saying he will pay every week but does not honour his deadlines. How to lift UAE employment ban

Q: I was working for Boutique 1, it`s an LLC company. I left the company in October 2015, after working with them for 11 months. So I got a one-year labour ban from them. Then I joined another company which is in a free zone, so my visa got processed and faced no issues in October 2015. I have been with this company for 1 year and 9 months and now I have a job with Landmark which is an LLC as their marketing manager. So I cancelled my visa and applied with them but it got rejected because it says I have a 1-year ban. Now, the ban is from my old employer Boutique 1 (the ban should have finished last year), but since I didn`t leave the country and rather changed my visa within the UAE the ban period never begun. I have filed a request with Tasheel but I don`t think that will help. I have everything needed to lift the ban. The labour contract with my salary a lot more than AED 12,000 attested bachelor`s degree & if necessary I can get NOC from Boutique 1 as it`s been almost 2 years since I left them. Need urgent help!

Q: Dear Nikhat, I have a personal loan with a bank in Dubai. Last October 2016 I lost my job and the company sent me back to my country. Now I have a job offer and visa. Premature termination of tenancy contract due to defects of the property

Penalty payable in case of early termination of tenancy contract

Q: My tenancy contract specifies that "In the event of early termination, Tenant shall have to serve two-month written notice prior to the vacating date and to pay two months rent as a penalty to the landlord and the remaining balance to be refunded". Based on that, please advise if during the two months notice I can stay in the property and paying those two months rent (which are effectively already paid) are the penalty or if after the two months notice an additional two months rent should be paid as a penalty? Q: Hi Sir, Please, can you help me understand the following below? I have been terminated from my company in Dubai. They had made me sign one letter on their Official Letterhead that they have terminated me and will be giving a grace period of one month. This was almost 1.5 months ago. After this now they have made me sign the Cancellation Letter for closing the Contract. They are telling me they will be paying my basic salary and not be paying HR, is that ok by Law? Also, they will be deducting the cost of the car and mobile SIM since the letter which they provided to me. Please, can you help me understand the Law of termination in Dubai, so that if in any part they wrong I could take legal action if required?

Q: Aslamulaikum, I have a query, I am on my husband`s sponsorship and was working in Dubai with one company. I joined in May 2016. Employer made me sign the employment contract in May itself but did not make the labour card. So I worked with only that contract until finally after chasing the employer made the labor card in October 2016. I worked that 4 months without the work permit. Now as they terminated my employment in March and did not give any right to me I have filed a case in the court against them. I want to know is it legal if I submit my May Contract in the court as my starting date of work. Will it cause trouble for me? Because I want to fight the injustice that happened to me. Please help. Q: Please see the information given below and let me know who should pay this security deposit to the tenant and what will be the new landlord role here. 1. In August, 2016, I purchased a property in Gate Tower, Al Reem Island, Abu Dhabi, where the tenant stayed. 2. His contract was until Feb 2017, so instead of returning the balance amount of rental charge, I requested the previous owner to deduct that amount. 3. After signing the contract, I received the contract between the previous owner and tenant and realized that there was a deposit AED 4,750. 4. I did not know about this deposit and transferring deposit was not even mentioned in the contract. Furthermore, the deposit agreement was between previous owner and tenant. 5. Now, the tenant wants to receive the deposit. Please let me know whether I as a new landlord have to return this deposit or the tenant has to collect the deposit from the previous owner since they made an agreement of deposit.
