Q: I am working for my present company without signing any contract with the company. I`m working in this company for more than 2 months. And they applied for my visa only this month October 9, 2017. I really don`t know if I`m under probation during that 2 months that I`m working in this company. And I want to leave this work for some reason. Is there anything I can do legally about it? Will an employee signatory be liable for bank loans of the company?
Q: Hi, During my employment with my Company, I had signed a few guarantee for a finance taken by the company amounting to more than AED 100 Million. As I was the signatory to that particular Bank account I was asked to sign the security Cheque. I have resigned 6 months ago and the cheque is still with the bank; will I be held responsible in the event the bank takes legal action if the company does not repay the loan?

Sorting a new visa and other issues during a pending labour case
Q: Hi. I left my job with a Dubai based financial company (Not free zone) in March 2017, as I suspected my employer was taking deductions without my permission. I have asked for a final settlement of AED 68000 which they refused, and are asking me AED 16000 in return for bonuses paid. I was not able to work my 30 days notice as they blocked my office access, email and database. I have my first hearing due on the 9th of November, but my visa expires on the 18th of October. I am in a predicament because I have to travel next week for medical treatment in the UK and I have to take another job since I am not earning. Please advise what I can do. After the 18th of October, I will not have medical insurance. Is it possible I can get my visa cancelled without employer approval? Also, how can I arrange the travel approval? How to act to defend your case upon receiving a legal notice

Q: Dear Sir, Greetings! I am working in a construction company as a Secretary/ Front Desk Receptionist. My visa expired on the third of May 2017, and till this date, my employer has not renewed my visa.
