Possibility of resigning during probation for forging the labour contract

Q: Dear Sir, I am working for a company. They had submitted a labour contract without my knowledge. They got fake signature mentioning only 500 as a basic salary for a job of sales, while I am working as a business development executive in the company. They also charged me for the visa. I had evidence & documents to prove my claim. I am waiting for my probation period till February 2019, while I got another offer from another company. My labour contract is an unlimited term with a probation period of 6 months. Can I switch my job now or should I wait till my probation period?

Q: I have a personal loan at Dubai Islamic Bank. I was paying regularly but in 2016 me and my wife were having financial difficulties so I skipped 2 payments. I kept paying regularly after that and wasn`t able to catch up on that missed payment, and when my company was about to renew my visa, there was a case filed against me by the bank, so I got jailed. To to cut it short, I paid an amount that was placed on what I am assuming the security check. But until now they are still calling me and asking me to pay the remaining amount of my loan and threatening that they will file up another security check to got me jailed again. I am very concerned and stressed as I am traveling by December of this year. Kindly help please. Thanks.

Q: Hello Sir My query is I have a cheque of AED 154000 and the contract made between us for this cheque is also available. Now the person who gave me the cheque is not paying and asking for time. Should I get his cheque bounced? And if I file a civil case, how much % I have chances to get this money? He has 2 more companies which are doing quite well. Suppose he comes out on bail, is my cheque valid? I heard if he completes a jail term, then he is not liable to pay this cheque.

Return of a paid investment to a partner willing to quit

Q: Hi, I invested in a hotel business in Dubai with 7 investors including me. the cost invested by all of us was 1.05 million. One of the investors ran the restaurant full time every day, for 20 months. The guy who ran it full time cheated all of us by not paying us even a single penny in 20 months & made sure the debt goes up above AED 750K. The other 6 investors don`t have any legal proof as we only invested funds. The document owner is the guy who ran the restaurant 51% & the other 49% is on friend`s wife name. He hasn`t paid salaries to staff, rent, vendors, vat nothing. We investors even invested additional 300k to pay rent initially, and even that he did not return us. He cheated us. Now all investors have decided to kick him out & invest more funds to clear the negative 750K. I don`t want to continue with these guys anymore, so I want to quit. But they are asking me to quit with zero! I have invested AED 156500 & they are not ready to pay even one dirham. Please advise how to get at least some of my investment. Please help.

Avoiding a labor ban upon resignation from a limited contract

Q: I am working on a limited contract with a company. I have signed a 2-year limited contract and I have completed 9 months. I was trying to negotiate with the company. I wanted to leave back to home country due to family issues and I was ready to serve a notice period and 45 days` salary or even 3 months` salary, so that the employer does not put a ban on me. They replied they will put a ban and they don’t need a notice period. They will follow the UAE law and they have already removed the system access from me. They have emailed me, now due low performance we have suspended you for two days. What’s the best solution to get rid of them and avoid a ban? Will this suspension affect me? What’s the best solution you can suggest for me?

Q: Alimony Money after Divorce Hi, I am going through a divorce with my first wife. The court has advised up to discuss the alimony money. She continues to increase her demand and is demanding much more than she originally requested to the court as she filed for the divorce.
