Calculating the last date of work as per the law and contract
Q: Good Day Sir/Madam, I want to ask you as my joining date in my company was 26 June 2015 but they pasted my visa on 9 August 2015. I checked in “MOHRE” (a government application) that my end of the second contract will be 24 June 2019, but my friends told me it will be according to Emirates ID as 9 August 2019. Q: Hi, My employer has not paid my salary for the last 4 months. He has asked me to leave the country and stay at home till he pays the dues. I want to leave Dubai with proper cancellation of my work visa and labour contract after receiving my unpaid salary and EOSB at the earliest possible. Claiming down payment for cancellation of work after issuing LPO
Q: We are an LLC company registered in Dubai. We had received LPO from our client and the advance was issued against security cheques. Now, the client has cancelled the LPO due to the uncertainty of the project. Proving the actual amount in a bank case for a personal loan
Q: Dear Madam, I took a personal loan from a bank for AED162,000/- and paid AED 139,000/-. Now, the balance is 84,000/- (with interest). I received information that the bank has filed a case for AED 219,000/-. I did not pay the monthly EMI of AED 4,538/- for more than 6 months due to job loss. Consequences of defaulting on the payment of loan EMIs
Q: I have a personal loan with a bank amounting to approx. 180000 (Principal) post deduction from my end of service benefits. I was terminated from work on 10 Sept 2018. Right now I am in India. My first EMI got bounced on Feb 2019. Please help me know what is the maximum punishment by the court in such a case. As of now, I am jobless. If I come to Dubai to search for work, will there be a travel ban to exit from the UAE? How can I extend my stay in Dubai as I will enter the UAE on a visit visa? Possible punishment in a complaint for bounced cheques
Q: My husband is an investor and I am a housewife in the UAE. My situation is that my husband had attempted to buy several properties in Dubai on my name. However, over the past months, he has been seriously ill and hospitalized multiple times. Eventually, the MOUs of these properties expired before we were able to take ownership transfer, and the sellers placed the 10% deposit cheques in their accounts. These cheques bounced because my husband was unable to arrange the 10% deposit amounts in time due to his illness. Now, these sellers are making a police complaint against my husband and are threatening to put him jail. They have been unwilling to show any mercy despite his medical records, and the doctor’s official recommendation that my husband should rest for a month. The commencement date of a limited labour contract to be considered
Q: Sir, I am on a limited contract working for a company in Dubai. I have a problem getting the exact date of my contract completion. I want to know from which date the contract period starts. It is mentioned in my visa 22/03/17 and ending on 21/03/19. But in my signed contract paper it is mentioned as "it is on wednesday corresponding to 08/02/2017 in the UAE." I would like to know the ending date. Also, do I have to serve for another month after this period if the company makes me do?
