How long do the execution procedures take before getting your labour dues?

Q: My labor execution case number is [----]. Al Adheed center informed me to get back after 21 days. More than 21 days passed but I was informed to wait till June 01. Still in process. I need to know how long it will take to get my settlement from the company. Kindly advise me.

Q: Hi, My father, who is an Egyptian Moslem and never was a resident of the UAE, has 4 properties in unfinished developments in Dubai who he was paying instalments on. We (the heirs - myself, my two sisters, and my mother) would like to transfer the properties in our names so we can continue to pay the instalments. I understand we need to file a case at the Personal Status Court to obtain a court order and give it to the Dubai Land Department to update their records based on the Dubai Court Order. I have the following documents: - Father`s death certificate attested by the Egyptian Foreign Ministry and UAE embassy in Cairo. - Inheritance certificate stating that we are the legal heirs attested from the Egyptian Foreign Ministry and UAE consulate. - General PoA from my sisters and mom to myself attested from Egyptian Foreign Ministry and UAE consulate. - Passport copies of all of us including my dad. - Contracts for properties from developer. Do I need anything else?

Job offer and a request to pay visa charges first: Is it genuine or fake?

Q: I got a call for an interview and I have attended it in one free zone located in Sharjah. After 2 days, I got a message from the company that I need to pay for the first two-year visa but later they will renew, and it was AED 7000. I replied to them that I can`t afford that amount at this time, then they agreed that I pay AED 2000 first later they will deduct from my salary. I don`t know what to do and how I should proceed. Is it genuine or fake? I am confused and also it is located in the free zone. Can anyone help me with how to proceed?

Q: There are few things I want to find out: 1. How to get background verification, legal check of any open/ongoing cases and financial liability check on a person and a business registered in Dubai, UAE? 2. If I have to enter into a new partnership on an existing trade license, do I become liable for any old existing liability/case on the older trade license? 3. س: رفعت قضية عمالية ضد شركتي وصدر الحكم لصالحي بتاريخ 23/03/2021. قدَّم محامي الشركة المُدَّعَى عليها ضمن قضية الاستئناف طلبًا بتاريخ 15/04/2021 وأُلغي بتاريخ 21/04/2021 بسبب عدم المراجعة ضمن المدة المُحددة ثم قدّم طلبًا ثانيًا بتاريخ 01/05/2021 وحالة الطلب حاليًا قيد المراجعة. السؤال: هل يمكن الاستمرار بتقديم طلبات إلى ما لا نهاية أم أن الطلب الثاني يعتبر خارج المدة المسموح بها للاستئناف؟

How to recover post-dated cheques from a company owner after escaping

Q: Dear Sir/Madam, We (a Sharjah-based company) had business relations with Ajman Free Zone-based company. Several post-dated cheques issued by the company (against goods purchased from us) bounced and we filed a police case for the same. The owner of the company paid fines and escaped to India sometime last year. We know his Indian residence and whereabouts. How can we force him to pay or move legally to recover the dues? Kindly advice!

Can the tenant change his mind after sending a notice to vacate the house?

Q: The tenant notified the owner to vacate the house, now the owner sold the house. The new owner wants to stay thinking the tenant is vacating, now the tenant changes his mind and wants to file the renewal in RDC.

Q: In many answers, I see that the court fee is mentioned for the labour cases above AED 100,000. However, as per article 5 of labor law, workers are exempted from court fees. In which law is this court fee mentioned? If I take this claim directly to court, is there a fee? And if I appoint a lawyer to represent on my behalf, is a fee applied then?
