Q: Dear Khaled, I`m blacklisted in the UAE due to bounced cheque. However, the police told my friend that my case is not big and I can come to Dubai and they will hold me for one hour in the airport and then let me enter the country. I have received a job offer from a company in Fujairah. How to know if it's real?
Q: I have received a letter of appointment from a company in Fujairah via mail without any interview, neither personal nor telephonic. The selection has been based on my CV posted in one of the leading job portals in India and I am based in Bangalore, India. The company has asked me to contact a Travel Agency in Dubai for processing my work/residence permit visa. Accordingly, when I contacted him via mail he says that I need to pay US $ 1850/- to process my papers or send him US $ 2950/- to process my and my family`s visa papers in the UAE. After going through the advice given on this portal, I find this is also a fake one. Can somebody advise me in this regard at the earliest?

Can I file a case against an immigration consultant for not doing any action?
Q: I have submitted my immigration documents to a consultant company in Dubai for Canada under a working visa. They committed that the process takes months but they have not yet processed it. I asked for a refund. But they said it will not refund as it is a voluntary withdrawal within the process which is written in the contract. However, I keep reminding them the process for Candan has not yet started. In the beginning, they said that once I submitted my IELTS certificate, they will start to find a job offer in the market of Canada. But I did not submit the IELTS certificate. And they never approached me about this. They keep making false promises they will check and will fund soon. I Have asked several times to connect me with the higher authorities to resolve my issue but no cooperation from their end. I have paid 6000 DHS so far. How can I claim my end of service settlements before the lapse of one year?
Q: My previous employer, an LLC Dubai Company, is yet to complete the end-of-service settlement. The last 25% remains to be paid to me. As per the labor law of the UAE, I have one year before I can raise a complaint. This one-year period will expire in 10 days. Can I get my previous employer to sign a promissory note or loan agreement with me so my rights are protected or do I lodge a formal complaint with the MOL/MOHRE?

How to refund my money from an immigration agency for breach?
Q: Hi all, An immigration consultancy cheated me in the UAE. They told me that within 6 months I would be in Canada with my family, and for that, they charged me AED 13800. Eight years have gone and there are no results, and they neither answer my phone nor return my money. Now I saw in the contract that they gave me to sign that all payments made are non-refundable. They have committed fraud, they did not provide any service to me nor they informed me that the payment that I made is nonrefundable. They first took the money then they gave me the contract to sign.
