Advising the bank about the delay in payment of salary

Q: Hi Hari D. is here once more. I believe you remember we spoke last week regarding a bounced cheque. I have changed my job and will be starting my new role tomorrow. My credit card settlements will be due at the end of this month. My current employer pays salaries on the 15th of each month hence I will only be able to settle my card payments around that time. Previously, I used to get paid on 28th of the month. I just want to get your opinion if it will be advisable for me to inform the banks accordingly so that they can reschedule my card payment plans and I do not default in the future. They will be expecting payments at the end of June, but I won`t get paid until July 15th. Thank you for your usual support.

Are the execution court procedures effective?

Q: I filed a civil case 2 and half years ago and we had a settlement in court. The person issued new cheques for payment but now all his cheques bounced and there is no more intention to pay. I went back to the court and they told me to proceed with the execution. The amount is only 40k and the person just paid 8k since 2016. I haven`t collected my money yet and now I have to undergo again a process in the court and I`m just afraid that I will pay court fees again and it will not be guaranteed that I will be able to collect the money. Please advise.

Outstanding debts and interest on loan and credit cards

Q: Hi, My name is A. I want to get your advice about my debts. I have 7-8 cards worth 250k and 200k personal loan. My salary is just 10k and I have my family with three grown-up kids and 60-70% of my salary goes in school fees, rent and other related expense. My personal loan is auto-debit that means I am left with nothing to pay the instalment of the cards. I need your help in settling this issue on priority. I am overloaded with debts and need immediate help. I have spoken to the banks and explained my problem; they are least bothered. Q: I have recently come to the UAE on a work permit. My employment visa falls under 4\5 category with an unlimited term. I was working with the current company last 4 months. Now, I got a new job with a better position and salary. I want to resign from my current job. Will there be any BAN imposed? The new offered job requires an attested diploma certificate. Cancellation of visa upon resignation and getting EOSB

Q: Good evening Sir, I am H., working as Asst. Manager under an unlimited contract, and now I completed 4 years and 10 months at this company. I have resigned from the job effective 01.06.2019, and on a 30 days notice period. My boss instructed me to withdraw my resignation letter and give an apology letter, but I refused politely. Last week, they accepted my resignation and they instructed me to vacate the accommodation. On 16.06.2019, I vacated my company accommodation and handed over all the things that belong to my company. The facility of the motor car was revoked on May 30. My HR manager said (verbally) you can stop your duty, but he is not ready to send an official email. Still, every day I am going to the office by taxi. Now, they are forcing me to sign the cancellation paper. I asked about my gratuity but the HR manager is saying you have to sign cancellation paper letter we will process your gratuity. Sir, I am kindly requesting you to advise me on the procedure of how I can solve this issue in a professional way.

Obtaining a police clearance certificate for immigration purposes

Q: I am an ex-resident in Dubai and been there for approximately 6.5 years. I left Dubai in Apr 2015 due to family reasons and haven`t paid a loan and credit card. Now, if I need a police clearance certificate for me, will that certificate make me go through the process? If I am planning to file a PR to Canada for that purpose, will the UAE Embassy issue me the PCC with a clear record or? Kindly advise.

بلاغ الهروب وإمكانية إزالته والعودة إلى الإمارات

س: حصل نزاع مالي وبين كفيلي حيث كنت أدين له بمبلغ ٢٠٠٠٠ درهم. قام قبلها باستخراج تصريح عمل لذا قمت بتسليمه جواز سفري لإكمال الإجراءات، ولكن بسبب النزاع قام بإلغاء تأشيرة الإقامة وتعديل وضعي وقام بالتعميم ضدي دون علمي. وقد علمت بعد ستة أشهر من قيامه بذلك لذا راجعته وطلبت منه رفع التعميم ولكن دون أي جدوى. راجعت أحد موظفي تسهيل وسألته عما إذا كان بإمكاني إدراج طلب لرفع بلاغ هروب كيدي فردّ علي بأنه لا يمكنني طلب رفع بلاغ بسبب مرور أكثر من ستة أشهر. لذا كنت أراجع مندوب كفيلي حتى يفهمه وضعي ويقوم برفع التعميم ولكن دون أي جدوى. في عام ٢٠١٤م تم القبض علي من قبل شرطة دبي وإحالتي الى شرطة عجمان وبعد شهر تم تسفيري. ملاحظة: قدم كفيلي دعوى مدنية ضدي في محكمة عجمان مطالباً بالمبلغ قبل قيامه بإدراج بلاغ هروب ضدي وقد علمت عن القضية قبل سنة من تسفيري. سؤالي هل يوجد هناك وسيلة لإنهاء البلاغ الذي قام كفيلي بإدراجه ضدي وهل يمكنني العودة إلى دولة الإمارات؟ وما هي الاجراءات اللازمة لذلك؟

Q: Dear Sir, My company is going to provide me with costly training. They want me to sign a paper on which it is stated that after the training I will be bound to work for the company for the next three years. Q: One of my employees requested 3 months annual leave, we granted 2 months. However, once he went on leave, he came back after 5 months. We gave him a show cause notice, he said he is not willing to give us a written explanation for his absence. How do I proceed with him now?
