The commencement date of the limited labour contract

Good day Ahmed,

Offer letter Contract signed between me and the company (Joining date of work): 24/6/2018.

MOL Contract was signed: 17/7/2018 (Which says I entered country 26/7/2018 valid 2 years limited contract until 25/07/2020.

Last day in the company: 7/7/2019.

Did I complete a year?

Since when will the court calculate?

Dear Sir,

The court will calculate on the basis of the signed Labor Contract unless your offer letter is duly registered in the ministry of labour.

You need to know the starting date mentioned in your labour agreement.

You have clearly mentioned that the contract was signed on 17/7/2018 (assuming it is the joining date based on the agreement) and your last day of work is 7/7/2019.

Based on the facts of the case, I am of the opinion that you haven't completed one year.
