Right action against the employer for visa non-renewal and overstay
Q: Dear Sir, Greetings! I am working in a construction company as a Secretary/ Front Desk Receptionist. My visa expired on the third of May 2017, and till this date, my employer has not renewed my visa. My Emirates ID is already expired also, and my employer keeps on telling me they don`t have the money now to renew my visa, but they will renew it. As you can see, a lot of fines has been accumulated to date and its 6 months now. Police case for bounced cheques issued for rent
Q: We rented a business working space at one of the business centres. We used the premises for two months but the service was very bad. Moreover, our business was a startup, hence it didn`t take up. The business centre management had agreed on vacating the place within a week as per our deal. Now, they are not returning our security cheque. We were supposed to pay only AED 4000 for an early exit. They are arm-twisting us by depositing our monthly cheques along with the security deposit, which of course bounced and they made a police case for which we paid the fine. They are purely cheating and trying to take the pending rent, but it was agreed that we can vacate. Please advise what is the next step we can take.Oct 15, 2017

Q: Hi, I have a dispute with one immigration consultancy firm in Dubai. I have signed an agreement with them for seeking their services two years ago. However, later I came to know that they have not provided complete information for qualification on the first instance due to which my case does not qualify at all for Canadian immigration. Forcing a tenant wrongfully accused of sublease to pay a penalty
Q: I and my family are living in a home rented by Al Wasl Properties. It is leased to my dad`s employer Khaleej Times and there has been a false allegation by Al Wasl Properties that we have subleased the home to someone without any evidence. New company's withdrawal of a job offer after resigning from the old company
Q: I need your suggestion and advice regarding my case. I was working in Abu Dhabi and I got an interview call from Dubai. I attended two interviews and I was selected, then I received an offer letter. Based on that, I resigned from my job and served a one-month notice period.
