Checking a possible ban for unintended overstay in the UAE
Q: Hi Sir. Hope you are doing well. I came to Dubai on a visit visa in 2014. I got a job and the owner of the company asked me for money to issue the employment visa. I paid him the amount, but the employer didn`t apply for my visa and went to his country. I filed a case against him in the court, but he didn`t come to the court after he returned to Dubai. The main problem was that I had given him my original passport, and that`s why I didn`t exit the country. After 10 months, I went to Al Aweer jail and I took exit without paying overstay fine. I had given fingerprint and eye scan also. Now, I want to come back on partner visa and I want to know if I can come on that visa or not. If you help me on this matter, I will be very thankful to you.

Appeal for reducing the punishment of a theft crime from jail to fine
Q: A judgement issued today in a criminal case for stealing has resulted in a jail term of three months. An appeal application hearing has been made, in order to turn the jail term into a fine. The appeal date has been set for January 2018, and we were informed that we can make an application to have the appeal heard earlier, is this possible? We would like to convert and pay the fine as soon as possible, in order for the subject to be closed and the accused to have his passport back.

Checking visa status after exiting the UAE for more than six months
Q: I was on an investor residence visa in the UAE up to 2010. I had to leave back to my home country and stay due to family issues. In the meantime, my residence visa expired in 2011 and I did not go back since then. I apprehend, there might be some problems due to my long absence. Precautions during court proceedings to guarantee your rights at execution
Q: I am seeking compensation for damages from a company that used my name in fraud. I have finished the case until the appeal court and the execution court has ordered that the company assets and accounts be attached until they pay the sum required as per the judgement. The company has been closed since last year and has no more money left in the bank. If there are no more assets of the company I could go after since the company no longer exists, how else can I get justice aside from the words written on a few sheets of my case judgement paper? I`ve spent a lot and exerted a lot of effort seeking justice for myself, and when it is time to collect what the judge has determined what I should have, apparently there is nothing left. Is there any other legal recourse? Thanks
