Right to claim damages for terminating a service contract
Q: I am just wondering, one of my clients has cancelled the awarded contract before the execution of the contract according to the termination clause which states that the contract can be cancelled by giving a 5 days` notice. However, we have spent reasonable time and resources for the execution of services since the award of the contract. Do we have any legal ground to ask for partial compensation?

Obtaining a clearance letter for defaulting on a bank loan
Q: Hello, I am currently in India and I have already received the release letter from the bank for the outstanding loan, but when I check online from India on Dubai police website it is still showing that I have bounced cheque on my name. I am planning to travel and want to make sure if there will be any problem and how it will be cleared. The bank informed me that I need to get a clearance done from the court and take that to the police station to get the case released.

Settlement of a bounced cheque for defaulting on a bank loan
Q: Naser, Salaam alaikum We want to file a case against X related to a bank issue in Ajman. We are submitting the relevant proof/documents like memorandum, emails...etc. They will be translated into Arabic, legal translation. The case also involves bank statements that show that we paid as proof. My question: Do we need to do the legal translation of all 24 pages of bank statements in Arabic? Q: Dear, In some contractual correspondences/variance order proposals, I noticed that: "If you don`t respond within this certain time frame this document stipulates, the T&Cs are considered as accepted from the date the document is received". Q: Hi I have logged a complaint against my employer yesterday because he refuses to pay my end of service benefits + 2.5 months` salary, neither is he willing to give me any post-dated cheques. Q: Hello. I have been working for one company a year and a half. Yesterday, I was told that due to redundancy they don`t require my services. Q: For a 100,000 bounced cheque, the decision from the criminal court is 20,000 fine and pay the full amount. My question is that, before the civil case is made, does the travel ban still exist or it`s removed after the sentence from the criminal court? Clearance of a bounced cheque case to get a new visa
Q: Dear Sir/Ma`am, Please tell me what I should do next after being imprisoned for a month and paying the fine for a bounced cheque (unpaid salary loan as I lost my job). They did not give me a receipt and/or any sort of clearance after paying, They just let me out of the jail. I am still in the UAE and will join a new company. Will I be able to get a visa?
