Q: My father was under a medical condition and was treated for cancer last year. He had borrowed his company`s money and could not return back. As he was having cancer and we were going to India back, they asked him to repay the money. But instead, as I am his son, he informed me to give my cheque as surety as he had no cheques. Due to my father`s condition, I gave my bank cheque for the amount to be repaid. In some months we have only paid 40% but 60% is pending which his company has held my cheque and might put anytime to the bank. We are buying time but can`t to pay back as It is a big amount.
