What determines my last working day; labour card or EID expiry?

Hello,

I will not renew my contract with my current company. My labour card will expire on 25-Nov, and my EID on 17-Dec.

When will my last day be? Is it based on the labour card or EID?

Dear questioner,

The primary factor determining your last day is your employment contract. It will specify the notice period required for termination.

You are obligated to adhere to the notice period specified in your contract even if you are not renewing, so serve a notice period which will be ending along with the contract.

If you need further clarification, kindly share your WhatsApp number.

Your obligation to your existing company will be based on your labor contract and labor card. It is the primary document, and you should follow the labor contract for termination.

You are required to serve the notice period upon termination as per the contract terms.

If you need further clarification, feel free to ask.
