Q: Greeting!
My name is Fazil Hussain,
I was working in the UAE for past 5 years, I have a personal loan of 80,000 from ADCB Bank in Dubai. I never missed a single EMI to the bank and had good records. But I lost my job, so had to come back to India.
I wanted to go back to Dubai and search for a job but the bank said they have blocked my visa and I cannot get a job there. I replied to the bank by email that if they block my visa then how can I find a job in Dubai and how should I pay my outstanding balance on the personal loan. I can pay my loan only if I get a job in the UAE...
Please help me with your advice, I can pay the outstanding only if I work in GCC. I can't afford to pay from India. I want to pay my outstanding and clear it.
Can the bank give me NOC to work in Dubai and pay their loan? And I want to know, is it possible if I go to Saudi Arabia and do a job and pay my installments to the bank in the UAE?

Bank settlement of unpaid debts to get a clearance

0
Q: I had two loans in Dubai and left a few years ago (2015).
I wrote a cheque to the banks when I applied for the loan (but it was not written in bad faith) as I was paying my instalments for more than three years.
I was contacted by a collection company and tried to structure a deal with them but it did not work.
Since 2015 till now, I don't have a permanent job and very difficult to pay back or even to hire a lawyer.
Now, I am planning to immigrate and not sure how these records would show (civil/ criminal).
Is there any way to overcome this situation?

The impact of UAE debts on travelling to GCC countries

25
Q: I have debt from the UAE and have a few bounced cheque cases against me. I left the UAE a few years back and have not travelled to the countries since then.
My question is if I travel to Qatar, Saudi or Kuwait, will those bounced cheque cases come to haunt me on those countries, even though I am just in transit of those countries?

Is it possible to get arrested in other GCC countries because of a loan in the UAE?
7
Q: Good day!
I have a personal loan in the UAE, which I haven’t finished paying yet.
I’ve never missed any payment when I was still working there back in 2018. I had to go back to my home country and fix some of my personal problems.
I was planning to go back to work again in any GCC countries except the UAE because I want to first clear my loan from there and head back soon.
Is it possible I’ll get arrested in other GCC countries because of my loan in the UAE?
I got a job offer and I want to settle that loan ASAP.
Please advice!

Will I get arrested in other countries if I have an unsettled credit card in the UAE?
0
Q: I have an unsettled credit card in the UAE, and due to the pandemic, I have been unemployed for a long period of time.
My unsettled amount was still counting and ballooned because of the interest. It is approximately 20k plus now.
My question is, am I banned from traveling or will I be stopped in other countries because of this debt?

The management of individual financial affairs is crucial and all the actions must be weighed down while committing to any financial liability. Whether it's job loss that may have lead to financial failure or the opposite, one must be aware of the personal liability which will not diminish by paying fines for cheque bounce cases. There are two major types of liabilities, criminal liability and civil liability. Each has its own significance, hence, must be dealt with accordingly.

Filing a case for wrongfully encashing a guarantee cheque 0
3 years back I had given a post-dated cheque as a guarantee to a person whom I had to pay the money.
In 3 years time before the due date of the post-dated cheque, I had paid him partially by cash and cheque for which I have his signed vouchers and the PDC cheque details.
He was supposed to return back my PDC on the due date and collect the balance amount that was around AED 4000. The cheque value was AED 115,000.
On the due date, he demanded more money from me and when I refused, he bounced the cheque and filed a cheque bounce case.
He said I gave him a cheque of a closed bank account when he asked the money back and claimed the full amount. I was arrested and had to pay the fine for the cheque bounce case.
With the agreement I have with me and the payment voucher proof, can I sue him back for the false accusation?
And can I claim compensation for spoiling my name and image?

The consequences of resignation in a limited labour contract 0
Dear Sir,
I hope you are doing well.
My neighbour brother went earlier to Dubai for packing work in a hotel for 2 months. Due to the condition of work & not getting a proper salary, he decided to resign from his job.
When he intimated the same to the employer they said he should pay AED 4500 before leaving & his own ticket. He is from a very poor background that's why he came for AED 900 salary.
But he gets actually 750 only without food. Need your kind support to help him to come back to India.
