A police criminal case was filed against me and I paid the fine. Years later, a civil case was also filed thus the travel ban. I somehow requested the bank to look into the matter, and they did not give me any discount but gave me installments to pay. I paid a 45k down payment against the outstanding of 115k and now I am paying 3k every month. On the 31st of December, we received the court verdict which was in my favor. Now the bank is insisting on me to withdraw the appeal as per my understanding after signing the agreement and they were supposed to withdraw the case against me. Now they are forcing me to take back the appeal since I am eligible for the court fee refund. If I withdraw the appeal, I will lose my money. Kindly advise what I should do. The bank is threatening to put a travel ban on me.

Q: Dear Sir/Ma'am, I'm an accused in a theft case at my workstation. The amount stolen was 7000 AED. I surrendered, confessed, and agreed to pay the entire amount immediately to my employer. However, he still called the police and filed a case. At the same time, the police recovered the entire 7000 AED from me, but my boss was still not ready to drop the case. After a few days, he somehow agreed to an out-of-court settlement, demanding 10000 AED. We agreed to it and, in return, requested him to withdraw the case. We paid him the amount, and he got a letter from the typing center to withdraw the case. When he went to the police, they said the file had already been moved to the prosecutor. We went to the prosecutor, and they said the file had been moved to them, but they hadn't registered the case in their system yet. Now the prosecutor doesn't want to drop the case, as he wants legal action to be taken against me. Please assist with how to withdraw this case from the prosecutor. If it can't be dropped, what actions might be imposed on me?
