Do I need to re-upload evidence in my personal status appeal case?

Dear Lawyers,

In a Personal Status appeal case, do I need to upload the WhatsApp messages or evidence of abuse from my ex-husband again into the court system, even though I had already uploaded them in the previous case?

Or should I only upload the receipts and invoices that show the expenses for which I disagreed with the amount or the judge's final decision?

Dear Questioner,

You do not need to upload again the WhatsApp messages or evidence of abuse from your ex-husband if they were already submitted in the previous case; however, you should upload again any receipts and invoices related to expenses for which you did not agree with the amount or final decision made by the judge.

We are honored to represent you legally.

Please contact us via phone or email for further assistance.

Dear Questioner,

If your appeal is based on new evidence that was not previously available, you will likely need to upload it.

However, if your appeal is based on the court's interpretation of existing evidence, you may not need to re-upload everything.

If you need further clarification, you may ask us.

Thank you for your question regarding your Personal Status appeal case!

In an appeal, it’s important to remember that new evidence should be presented only if it was not considered in the original case or if there are substantial changes.

However, if the WhatsApp messages or evidence of abuse were already submitted, it is typically not necessary to upload them again unless there was an oversight or they were not adequately reviewed.

As for the receipts and invoices showing the disputed expenses, these should indeed be resubmitted as they directly pertain to your disagreement with the judge’s decision regarding the financial aspect of the case.

I would recommend reviewing your specific case documents to ensure nothing is missed.

Feel free to reach out to me through email, WhatsApp, or phone at [---------] to discuss this further and ensure everything is correctly submitted for your appeal.

Best regards,

Suhail Rana

Submit all the items that you have already submitted in the first court, including a note that these items are not new and that they were submitted in the first court.

If there are items related to matters agreed upon by the parties (that is, these parts of the verdict were not appealed), there is no need to submit them again.

My dear, it is best to resubmit the papers and invoices that were previously submitted.
