Can I continue working after work permit ends but before visa expires?

Hello,

I have a doubt that my work permit contract is going to finish by the end of this month, but my Emirates ID and visa expire only on June 8th.

In this case, can I work until my visa expires or am I not allowed to work after my contract finishes?

Dear questioner,

If you need to leave the job and do not want to renew the contract, then you are required to serve immediately the notice period mentioned in your contract because the basis of your work is up on the MOHRE contract and not upon the visa or Emirates ID.
