Questions & Answers
If I win the fraud case against the car dealer, what's their liability for the loaned car?
Dear Sir/Madam,
I bought a car a year ago, and during its first renewal, the test suggested that there was chassis damage and tampering with the airbags.
If I file a fraud case against the used car dealer, what happens after the judgment if it's in my favor?
The car is under a bank loan, and we have paid all the monthly payments on time. Will the used car dealer be liable for the complete value, or only the remaining cost of the car?
Dear Questioner,
You have the right to file a lawsuit to annul the sales contract, return the car to him, and get your money back.
You also have the right to file a lawsuit to compel him to pay the actual value of the car, return the remainder to you, and keep the car with you.
You have only 6 months from the day you become aware of the car problem to file a lawsuit.
Dear Inquirer,
We are pleased to serve you and address your inquiries.
You must first prove that you were not aware of these defects when purchasing. You can demand a return of the car and compensation

Dear Questioner,
In the United Arab Emirates (UAE), if you file a fraud case against a used car dealer and the judgment is in your favor, the potential outcomes and liabilities for the dealer will be determined based on the UAE laws and regulations governing such cases.
Regarding the specific question of whether the used car dealer will be liable for the complete value of the car or only the remaining cost, it will depend on the court's ruling and the specific circumstances of the case.
It's important to note that the UAE courts have discretion in determining the appropriate remedies and the extent of the dealer's liability based on the specific facts and circumstances of the case.
Additionally, the UAE has consumer protection laws that may provide additional remedies in cases of fraud or misrepresentation by businesses.
