Warranting the hidden defects of a purchased car and possibility to ask for damages
I bought a car from a Dubai dealer in November 2020 and in July 2021 (less than a year) the engine of the car stopped working.
When the dealer removed the engine from the car to see what happened, he realized that the engine has already been repaired before with non-original pieces.
When I bought it, they only stated that the car has been repainted; it's an obvious fraud. Is there any way I can ask for a refund of the damages?
Thank you.

You need to have an official report from the service center where you used to repair your car.
And you need to provide the statement of the dealer along with the report to the court of civil matters.
Then dispute the sale and purchase agreement and you might have a chance to claim the damages.
Kindly feel free to send the following documents to our email address so we can study them and serve you the most possible solution to your issue.
1- Sale and Purchase agreement i.e. the contract
2- Vehicle report from the service center
3- Dealer warranty "statement"
Once we receive the documents, we will reply to your email with the expenses and the time frame to address your issue.

Dear Questioner,
You can file a case because that's cheating in the sale agreement.
The seller should be honest and he should tell you all issues in the car. In that case, you will ask the court to hire an expert from RTA to scan the car and prepare a report on the damage.
I assure you I can help you if you can trust us to check your documents so that we will know what legal action to take.
I am pleased to help you if you contact me on my phone number or email.
Thank you.
