Worked 10 months at a real estate firm, no vacation pay given. What to do?
Hi,
I live in the UAE with my own visa. I worked for a real estate company for about 10 months and resigned.
They have only given me my salary without vacation pay. They say the reason is I am not on their visa, so they cannot provide vacation balance days.
Is that true?

Dear Questioner,
There are no such provisions in the law that one who stays on their own visa is not entitled to the annual leave salary.
Send a mail to your employer regarding the same and if they are reluctant to pay, file a complaint in MOHRE.
