Is it possible to remove travel ban in a cheque case and visit the UAE?

Hello to all,

I have a cheque execution case with a travel ban. I would like to travel next month for a week for my sister's marriage.

Is there a way I can travel?

A good friend of mine is willing to provide a guarantee for any legal formalities.

Thank you in advance.

Normally, blood relatives are considered by the court for a guarantee in cheque execution with conditions such as the guarantor must be a UAE citizen or resident with good financial standing.

You can submit a guarantee request, There is a possibility that the court may consider your request.

First, you have to make a power of attorney to our legal firm and we will examine your case and documents and then make an inquiry to all the relevant authorities that you have any cases with your name.

If there is an open case with your name, we will settle it and remove the travel ban.

Yes, there are possibilities to submit this request. Normally, family members surrender their passports as guarantors to secure the pending liabilities of the party.

The judge will consider the petition according to the merits of the case. If you want to discuss more share your WhatsApp number.

Dear Questioner,

Thanks for your inquiry.

Regarding the above, we would like to inform you that, before initiating the legal process, we will require a Power of Attorney (POA) from you.

This is necessary for us to represent you before government authorities and police stations. To proceed with the notarization of the POA, kindly provide us with the following documents:

- Copy of your old and new passport

- Copy of your Visa

- Copy of your Emirates ID

Upon receiving the aforementioned documents, we will begin drafting the POA in bilingual form. We will then send it to you for review, signature, and return.

Subsequently, we will submit the request to the federal Notary Public to notarize the POA. The Notary will provide a link for a remote meeting, during which your original passport will be verified, and you will sign on the screen.

Following this, we will cover the fees for Notary legal expenses and obtain a digital copy of the notarized POA. Please be advised that the legal fees for the POA notarization process amount to USD 140.

Upon receipt of the digital notarized POA, we will proceed to check your criminal record in the UAE to determine if there are any cases registered in your name. Please note that this process will take approximately 4 working days and our professional legal fees for this service amount to USD 320.

Regards,

In cases where there is a travel ban in place due to a cheque execution case, traveling can be challenging.

However, there are steps you can take to explore the possibility of temporary lifting of the travel ban for the specific purpose of a sister's wedding

You may need to file a formal application with the court requesting a temporary lift of the travel ban.

This application should clearly state the reason for your travel (your sister's marriage), the duration of your intended travel, and any other relevant details.

Since your friend is willing to provide a guarantee, this can be included in your application. The court might require a financial guarantee or a bail bond as a condition for lifting the travel ban.

Prepare and submit any supporting documents that can strengthen your case. This may include an invitation to the wedding, proof of your relationship with your sister, return flight tickets, and evidence of your intention to return (like job commitments, family ties, etc.).

The court may schedule a hearing to consider your application. Be prepared to present your case and answer any questions the judge may have.
