Deduction of labour expenses and entitlements upon termination

The company terminated me with notice and is not paying the gratuity after 2 years and 2 months of service.

They're also deducting the visa renewal, medical insurance, visa cancellation, Emirates ID charges from the final settlement.

In addition, they're considering not to pay my leave salary for the last month of the year 2017-2018 during the final settlement.

Dear Questioner,

You have not mentioned the nature of your labour contract [limited or unlimited].

Please note that the employer has no right to deduct the visa expenses from your end of service benefits. You have all the rights to get your leave salary and also flight tickets.

I strongly advise you to file a complaint in MoL [assuming you are working in a mainland company] claiming all your EoSB.

If you need any further assistance please feel free to contact me.

Thank you.

Regards,
